Hyperbola is a complete distro since its first stable [1]version
providing a fully free as in freedom GNU/Linux operating system called
Hyperbola GNU/Linux-libre. Its release codename is "Milky Way" for the
[2]current generation.

Derived from Arch plus stability and security from Debian, Hyperbola
provides packages from it that meet the GNU Free System Distribution
Guidelines (GNU FSDG) and replacements for the packages that don't meet
this requirement. Packages are provided for the i686 and x86_64
architectures.

As [3]mentioned from its social contract point "Hyperbola, Arch and
Debian" : Hyperbola distributes an operating system that is a free
version of Arch GNU/Linux and possibly other Arch-based systems, however
Hyperbola follows the principles of stability, development and
maintenance of Debian. Hyperbola provides repositories and installation
media without any non-free software. All Hyperbola operating systems
will be backward compatible with the Arch-based systems they are based
on, as to help liberate already working installations.
